About the Founders
Dr. Nanthalia McJamerson is a retired Professor of Education from Grambling State University. Her publications include Developing Literacy Skills across the Curriculum and a poetry collection titled Contrary toRumor, I’m Wonderfully Made. In addition to consulting, one of her greatest joys was serving as Co-Director of the GSU LA GEAR UP Summer Learning Camps for youth, 2005-2012. In addition she served as a Board Member and faculty in the Louisiana Education Consortium (GSU, LaTech and ULM)
Dr. Jimmy McJamerson was an Associate Professor of History at Grambling State University. His passion for empowering others led to a history-based book titled On the Shoulders of Our Ancestors. He also was the author of books, numerous educational book chapters and more than 500 poem prints. The late Dr. McJamerson was an award-winning poet and a historian in the southern region of the U. S.
